Undoubtedly our most important tool for conserving our Natural Heritage is Land Use Planning.  On June 07, 2023, we gave a presentation to Essex County Council to help guide changes to the County Official Plan.

Indigenous Peoples Day – June 21, 2023

 

In recognition of National Indigenous People’s Day we celebrate the rich history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations People.  We are so very thankful for the ongoing land stewardship by Indigenous people of our shared environment that protects the waters and lands for future generations!  

The Canada South Land Trust was honoured to participate with the Caldwell First Nation for a Beach Cleanup recently at Point Pelee National Park on June 4, 2023. – pictured.  Miigwech!!
